So what are silks and lyra?
Silks is a type of performance in which one or more people can perform aerial acrobatics while hanging from a fabric. The fabric may be hung as two pieces, or a single piece or folded to make a loop. The silk fabric is used to wrap, suspend, fall, swing, and spiral the person’s body into and out of different tricks and poses.
Lyra or hoop
The aerial hoop is a type of performance also known as the lyra that is done on a circular steel ring suspended from the ceiling, on which people can perform aerial acrobatics, by positioning their bodies into different tricks and poses.
VertiGal Aerial Fitness will guide you every step of your aerials journey, offer beginners to advanced silks and lyra.
